All’s well that ends well. And there we have it people, another season behind us. One filled with brilliant memories of deep powder turns, stylish jibbing, and massive airs. We had a great time here in the 3 valleys. Right from the beginning of the season when we were blessed with a big dump just before opening day and then again the week after. All july consisted of powder turns in the morning and park sessions or sick lines down Sta. Teres in the afternoon. Happy hour, the place to be to reconnect after a day of “no friends on a powder day”. Never any bad vibes there. We had people here from all over the world this season. Aussies, English, Spaniards, Quebecers (that’s probably misspelled) Yankies, Canucks, Scots and Asians. We rode hard and shared our passions for the shred. No one really wanted it to end especially after the August we had. So much fresh snow, great competitions. Some for cash and prizes others among friends trying to one up each other in a friendly game of S K A T E or puta or shize hazza. Much love and gratitude to all our clients this season. From Mary, Sabrina, Vanessa, and Julia to Jeff, David and the Irish lads. Big ups to Jake and Jay. Best of luck this upcoming season. Ryan, Jesus and Arsene, Rebecca and Mikey. Thank you for being with us this season. Bombaklat! much respect and love to everyone that called El Colorado, and Farellones home for the season. Barry, John, Ralf, Cyn, Marco, Bernadita, Stefano, Carolina, Daniela, Gav, Blake, Nico, Leta, Cristian, Checho, Pinky and the rest of the park crew. I’m sure I’m missing some people out. I apologize and wish you all the best. I hope to see you again next season.

August left us with metres of fresh snow. Powder days now have ended as we move on to spring conditions. With this deep base we are having an amazing spring shredfest. The Lippi competition series has finished with our friends taking honours. Tamo in first and Ralf in third. Perfect park conditions for progression. Loving life and living the dream.

I wax poetic for a minute if that’s allright. When we began with 3valleyschile this is the sort of scene we envisioned. Different people from different places getting together and sharing their enthusiasm for the mountains and fresh snows. Lately the weather has been fantastic. Deep dry powder and blue skies… Learning from experiences, sharing ideas and reflecting on moments that pass so fast sometimes its hard to grasp the meaning…we get together in happy hour and as we sit together the feeling resonates. A friendship with out pretenses or pressure. Raise your glass and send out cheers in gratitude….

From El Colorado to Cono Este and on to Valle Nevado and Valle Olympico, Tres Puntas and Ballicas. Finish off the day with a run down Sta. Teres and we are basking in the after glow of another powder day here in 3 valleys chile….Maybe tomorrow we head out to La Parva and hike out of bounds to Falsa Parva and the chutes in the bowls that are there…

With a foot of fresh snow last week and the dusting that proved to be a god send for the backcountry mid week. I’ve been a bit busy and not quite able to keep up to date info up for you out there. Today with another whiteout in effect I can now tell you about these stormy days…They have been so nice! A fine showing by the Pilsen crew in the first leg of the Lippi freestyle big air in Valle: Tomas taking second and Craig in third… Marcos and Stefano laying tracks in the chutes outside of La Parva. So many familiar faces glowing with the satisfaction of powder turns at the happy hour in Alambique. Its the daily operation for us here these days

Last night and into early this morning we received a little more fresh snow. Last week there was a larger storm but it came in with heavy wind. Loading Cono Este and various parts of Valle nicely. Today we had only about 10cms but it fell gently without much wind. Forecast calls for more snow Sunday….

What to do when waiting with patience for friends. Express the sentiments reflecting the day. Sunshine, blue skies and nice snow. Laid back and chillin’ Jake Colenda drops and pops. Days like this you never want to stop…
