Hello!
Posted by Karl Sanderson on August 7, 2007Hello, how are you?
its taken a little while but here we are with a blog to keep you up to date with whats going on with 3valleyschile, the resorts of El Colorado, La Parva, and Valle Nevado…
So far this season has been phenomenal, The resorts opened around the weekend of June 15th with about 2 metres of new snow, a storm on wednesday of that week ensured an excellent first day.
Since then we have been receiving a storm more or less every week. The storms of June and July came in with quite a bit of wind and loaded certain areas with deep snow, especially Cono Este of El Colorado. Lately the snow has fallen with little wind and has been drier and lighter. We expect another storm tomorrow. Accuweather is predicting about 10 cms.
