Some people call Santiago, “Santiasco” but most of the time its one of the nicest cities in the Americas.  This photo is taken from our accommodation in El Colorado on a clear night.

This is Fernanda, one of our star girls…..you can see her shredding in El Colorado along the season. She also lives in Santiago so she know a lot of good tips for your stay in Chile.

lots of sun here for the last 2 weeks or so…the snow is melting pretty quick but we’ve got a substantial base so the landings are soft for the all day park sessions.

September is the month when Chile parties…the fiestas de patrias go on for a full week surrounding the 18th with huge barbeques, lots of wine, beer and pisco, dancing till the sun comes up. dont stop, get up and do it all again and again…

I was at a BBQ just last night, must have been 17 pounds of meat cooked. a live band that played till about 6 in the morning. Twas very much a family affair with plenty for everyone including myself the only gringo there.

the resorts will be open till the end of the month…if we get another decent storm or 2 they will push closing date back till the middle of October…
