Season wrap up
Posted by Karl Sanderson on October 15, 2007
OK so maybe you can stop it! Some say all good things must come to an end…Here we see the truth in that and the end has come to our first season of the 3 Valleys Chile operation. We would like to thank everyone that stayed with us.Luis from Brazil who had the good luck of being here when we had great powder and with only 6 days on a snowboard used his surf expertise to develop great powder riding skills.Brook from new Zealand; who while only was with us for 3 days displayed un bound enthusiasm being one of the first on the hill and the last one off in the afternoon.Big thanks go to Mary and Shawn from NYC for getting the shred out. Theres nothing better than sharing great snow, food, drink and laughs with old friends, not only that but the amazing fotos taken and the exposure of the slideshow on www.expn.com is for us a beautiful thing.Speaking of old friends, having the luck of running into Dave and Duncan, whom I hadn’t seen since my season in Tignes was brilliant. I was so happy to see these lot out in Chile with Jamie, Henry and the rest of the crew from Falline and Document magazine. A hah, and no forgetting David McGeachie from Scotland. A top class gent. David was out during the fiestas de patrias. Some time in between the drinking and dancing we found the time to get out and about and discover the goods that the different resorts have to offer. I’d also like to thank all the people I met from Burton for being really down to earth human beings. Jake thanks for the bindings and goggles and DCP thanks for a great afternoon of powder riding out in the tres puntas area. Plus the night pipe sessions was a blast. To all my friends in El Colorado I hope to see many of you out here again next June. Juamma, Hugo and the Spanish crew, Pepe and the crew in the shop, Luna, Sebastian and everyone in the bar. Beto, Rodrigo, and everyone in Monte Blanco thanks for making me feel at home. y para todas otras amigos no hay olvido! salud! pasalo bien y cuidense!!
