It’s maybe a little too early to get all excited but its nice to know that its getting cold enough for some snowfall here at the resorts outside Santiago. El Colorado, Valle Nevado, and La Parva are all due to receive some fresh snow this weekend. I hope this is an indicator of a good snowfall to come this season. Let it snow!!

Close…huh….As is the base of El Colorado over there on the left. Get the good lines in the morning then after lunch hit the park. When you feel as though you’ve had your fill. Slide over to the Parador at the base of the resort to share a 2 for 1 drink with friends and tell the tales of the days riding over a plate of papas fritas while checking out the latest snow videos or the infectious beats of DJ P. Yes skiing and snowboarding in mid August in Chile is a very nice experience…
